ROCK
ROCK is our Senior High School Youth Ministry for grades 9 - 12. They meet bi-weekly, Sunday evenings from 6-8 p.m. in the church youth room. Monthly events for fellowship and outreach are planned. The first Sunday is a meeting, and the third Sunday is a fellowship event. There are also fundraiser events for outings and trips. For more information, contact Jeff Rogers at 847-918-0106.
Below are some of the things ROCK has done in the past:
Easter Brunch Fundraiser - Bake food, donate food and help with clean-up on Easter Sunday in the GLC basement.
Driver/Chaperone - Those willing to transport youth to local events on a as needed basis on the local area.
Overnight Chaperone - Available for weekend camping and/or retreats. Taking place mostly during the summer or as needed.
Sharing of Faith - Lead a bible study, share a story, lead a discussion or share musical talent. 15-30 minutes at Sunday night meeting.
Special Events - Making phone calls, help with planning, and event set-up/clean-up. One-time commitment on as needed basis .
